Children’s Book Illustrations

It is always special and a pleasure to illustrate for children. You need to bring out the fun aspect of every character and make it vibrant. It always cheers and excites me to draw for kids.

I took up a personal project to work on ten Children’s stories. I chose ten famous fairy tales and other stories and worked on one scene per story. It was so much fun to work on this project and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

1) The Fox and the grapes

We all know the famous fox and the grapes story. Here is an illustration of the glimpse of the story, where the fox tries to reach out to the grapes before it gives up.

2) The Tortoise and the Hare

This is another famous story that we are familiar with. Here is an illustration of the glimpse of the story, where the tortoise is about the reach the destination while the hare took a nap.

3) Little Red Riding Hood

This is a famous story of a girl. Here is an illustration of the glimpse of the story, where the girl encounters the cunning fox.

4) The monkey and the crocodile

This is another fable of a monkey and a crocodile. Here is an illustration of both of them, where the monkey trusts the crocodile and goes with him.

5) Cinderella

This is one of the most loved stories. Here is an illustration where Cinderella finds herself to be dressed by the magic and was in awe looking at the chariot that was created for her.

6) The Dove and the Ant

This is beautiful story that portrays the beauty of helping one in need. Here is an illustration where the dove drops a leaf for the ant to save its life.

7) The Honest Woodcutter

This is a beautiful story that proves that honesty is the best policy. Here is an illustration where the woodcutter astonishes on seeing the Goddess.

8) Snowwhite and the seven drawfs

This is another famous story of a girl named Snowwhite. Here is an illustration of Snowwhite with the seven drawfs.

9) The Pied Piper of Hamelin

This is a story of the famous Pied piper. Here is an illustration where the rats follow the pied piper.

10) Alice in wonderland

This is a very famous story of the uncanny adventures of the girl Alice. Here is an illustration where Alice jumps into the rabbit burrow unknowing the adventures awaiting.

This is one project that is very close to my heart. And I hope you people like it as well.
