Art Blogging - New Beginning

Blogging is something that I find very interesting and intuitive. Being an artist I always wanted to write about art on a wider platform. Being an introvert and having self-doubt on writing, I just didn’t start. I was waiting for the right time to start my art blog. Perhaps, I thought I need to gain a little more experience to share with the world.

I think the right time has finally arrived and here I am writing my first blog post. I am ready to share all my experiences and explorations in my art journey. Though I am an artist it feels good to pour your thoughts in words. It brings all the ideas out. And a feeling of writing to a friend.

I was drawing from a very young age, but coming from a different educational background, It was not easy at all to switch careers and that too in art. But with consistent effort and support from the people around, it was made possible.

There is a famous saying in my mother tongue Tamil, ‘சித்திரமும் கை பழக்கம் செந்தமிழும் நா பழக்கம்’, which means you get better at anything with practice. That’s what I did. I practiced most of the time. Tried to do it at least once a day. And it paid off in many folds. It made me realize that even if one possesses a talent it has to be honed and refined to succeed.

It feels really good to do art everyday and have a career out of it. It gave me much scope to explore many techniques, learn from established artists online and offline. I am really happy to have started a blog so that I could put out my experiences which may help a few. Which will also be quite interesting and entertaining. I will also be posting my artworks here and am glad to share the story behind its making. Can’t wait to do all the fun things...
